We are changing the Home Defence model to more accurately reflect the level of participation that is required.
DEFCON 3 : A small group of 1-5 (or so) is around. Respond if you are not committed many jumps away.
DEFCON 2 : A large group is around. Please finish what you are doing quickly and join the fleet. If you require a death clone to get into the fight, please check with the FC if you need to jump. (There may be enough in fleet)
DEFCON 1 : Our systems are under attack and our hold on the area is challenged. If you are online you are expected to be in fleet and helping in defence. No tolerance is given for mining, empire missioning or other activity.
Please do NOT use DEFCON 1 unless it is seriously big.

2008.08.05 20:07 IRC has obtained a certain amount of success and stature in Eve. Check the alliance rankings; see the alliances which have been interviewed in EON; look at the sovereignty maps. However, with success, attention follows. Not only from other successful 0.0 alliances, but also from has-beens, wannabes, and never-will-bees. To ensure that we have consistent representation on CAOD and other Eve mediums, it is Official IRC Policy that only officially sanctioned individuals can post to these areas. To receive this authority, please contact Oldma and/or Dibrle. Posting with an alternative character to get around this ban is strictly prohibited.
Let's let the Diplos and others who have more of the complete picture do the official posts for the Alliance.
Thanks.
Dibrle
PS - Yes, I know that some spy will immediately post this on CAOD.

2008.08.07 19:18 This directly from Oldma and all HC:
DO NOT POST ON CAOD.
The stupidity has stop.

"Dribble" has spoken. Yes, the New Orleans brothers who run IRC are barely literate... Well, let's call it semi literate.
I think the leader of a top 10 alliance should at least be able to type in complete sentences and use punctuation.
IRC suffers from the least charismatic leadership in the game. Oldma is the inverse of Molle.
And yet your the one hiding behind an alt character that is less then 20 days from creation.
Stop posting you make your alliance look ******ed
also, that mail was about you so yea
